The young missionaries organized in teams to rebuild a part of Saint Elisabeth Institute

From July 12th to 19th, a group from Youth for the Third Millennium at Budapest participated in a mission of work and evangelization in Mukachevo, Ukraine.

The young missionaries visited families house to house, sharing the message of the Gospel and inviting them to parish activities. They also helped remodel Saint Elisabet Institute, which serves the needy of Mukachevko.

Leading up to the mission, the young missionaries planned the activities and collected food, soap and clothing for the needy who are helped by St. Elisabet Institute.

Bishop Antal Majnek of the Mukachevo Diocese visited the missionaries and encouraged them to repeat the same mission the following year.

This mission made a wonderful spiritual and humanitariancontribution to the Mukachevo community and sent the young missionaries back to Budapest with their hearts full of joy for sharing their time and effort, renewed faith and a deeper apostolic commitment.
