On September 5, the new Archbishop of Lipa (Philippines), Arch. Ramon Argueles, received a delegation of Youth for the Third Millennium.

Ramon Austria, President of YTM in Ateneo de Manila University, explained the work we have been done in the Archdiocese of Lipa since 2002. We had four missions, two during school break and two during Holy Week, attending the most remote villages in Batangas, bringing the Gospel to more than 1,000 families.

Archbishop Argueles was particularly interested in our missionary work in the Islands with difficult accessibility. His Excellency was pleased to know that we went to Isla Verde and Maricaban Island respectively in 2002 and 2003. Imparting his benediction to our missionary work, he encouraged us to persevere with the evangelization missions so Christ can reign in the heart of the Batangas people.
