Integral and on-going formation for priests

Sacerdos aids today´s priests through its publications and numerous centers for nourishing the interior life of priests and enhancing their pastoral ministry. Sacerdos helps them stay grounded in Catholic doctrine and spirituality, the practice of Christian charity and ongoing theological formation.

By "ongoing formation", Sacerdos means each priest´s response to God´s continual call to be up-to-date in the complete living of his priestly vocation: growing in his friendship with Christ and his love for the Church; inflaming his heart with pastoral zeal and an attitude of generous self-giving to others; broadening his knowledge, founded upon a theology rooted in faith, charity and contemplation in proportion to the pastoral and spiritual needs of our time; and acquiring a solid, thorough formation by developing the richness of his personality.

To achieve this goal, Sacerdos´ main office publishes bimonthly a magazine with formation topics, focused on the new evangelization. Sacerdos magazine reaches 30 countries in Spanish, English, Portuguese and Italian.
