Hombre Nuevo (New Man)

Hombre Nuevo, a Catholic multi-media center based in Los Angeles, California, produces radio programs to promote the Catholic faith and human values among the Hispanic population of the United States, Central America, and the Caribbean. The program is transmitted by 11 radio stations in the United States and 30 in Central America and the Caribbean.

Hombre Nuevo also operates a center for evangelization in Los Angeles that directs courses in Scripture, catechesis, and organizes retreats and workshops for persons involved in directing the pastoral action of the diocese. The center´s establishment was made possible through the financial support of those who listen to Hombre Nuevo´s radio broadcasts.

In close cooperation with the local hierarchy and clergy, the center for evangelization promotes activities to foster parish life, such as theatrical productions, concerts, fundraising drives for the poor and the incarcerated, and door-to-door missions.
