| Fr Neil McNeil, LC gave a conference on the person of our Lord | |
 |
On October 24th and 25th in Aguascalientes Mexico, the Regnum
Christi women’s section organized and hosted their annual seminar
on the topic of Prayer. There were 1,200 participants, including
12 diocesan priests, and Religious from 10 different communities. It
was held at “El Salón de la Amistad”, The Friendship
Room.
Four conferences were held during the seminar and they addressed
the problems caused by the rise of pluralistic relativism this
century; the speakers then provided Christ-centered solutions. Fr Neil McNeil,
LC, confronted the ever-popular theme of whether Christ was just
another one of the many “enlightened” teachers. The title

of Fr Miguel Viso’s conference was: Are all the paths
to God the same? On the second day of the
seminar, Miss Lorena Navo addressed the theme of the prayer
of Christ while Fr José Luis Maroto expounded on the
subject of “My Life and Christ”.
One of the participants,
Elena Morales, said “the seminar has helped me to renew
my relationship with God, because I learned that praying to
our Lord is just as easy as talking to a
friend, and it has helped me to find that interior
peace that I have been searching for”. One of the
priests in attendance shared this insight: “the testimony of so
many lay people interested in improving their prayer lives and
sincerely desiring to make God a real part of their
day-to-day activities was very inspiring and enriching for my own
spiritual life”.
