In its apostolic work, the Legion of Christ, like Jesus
Christ, aims its supernatural mission at all men equally, since
the gift of our redemption is for rich and poor
alike.
However, aware of the tremendous need and
poverty in which many men live, Legionaries and Movement members
pay special attention to the human and Christian growth of
the most poor and needy people.
To make
this possible, they seek to commit lay people, youth and
adults, who can contribute their material goods, time, and professional
training, and who are imbued with a truly Christian sense
of charity and justice.
