27 young people experience the joy of giving of themselves
Bringing the love of Christ everywhere
27 young missionaries from México City brought the message of
the Gospel to the people of San Francisco of Xalpa
in the state of Mexico. It was a one day
mission on Saturday 20 October when these missionaries gave their
time and efforts for the cause of Christ.
The missionaries came
from a number of different high schools and universities, such
as the Maddox Academy, the R. Kipling Institute, and the
Tepeyac School Center. In the morning, the young missionaries went
door-to-door bringing a word of encouragement and faith to each
family they visited and in the afternoon they gave talks
The light of Christ can change the world
to children, their peers and adults, all who listened with
great interest and enthusiasm. At the end of the day,
the greater part of the town was present to accompany the
missionaries praying the rosary for peace. The mission helped both
the missionaries and the townspeople to grow in their love
of God. Our Lord also granted them all the grace
of feeling fulfilled upon giving so generously of themselves.
