Archbishop Velasio De Paolis the Pontifical Delegate to the Legion
of Christ, reported in his letter of October 19, 2010,
that the Pope had appointed Bishop Ricardo Blazquez, Archbishop of
Valladolid to serve as Apostolic Visitor to the consecrated members
of Regnum Christi.
Bishop Blázquez sent a letter to the
consecrated members on November 9, announcing that visits to the
centers of the consecrated members of Regnum Christi will occur
from January to June, 2011. He will be traveling to
the territories of Atlanta and New York, Venezuela, Italy, France
and Germany, Mexico and Monterrey, Spain, Chile and finally Brazil.
The
apostolic visitation will operate under the authority of the Pontifical
Delegate and in coordination with his other work with the
Legion of Christ and Regnum Christi.
In his letter, Archbishop
of Valladolid invited members to live this time in a
way characterized especially by Christian hope, which involves prayer, reflection,
repentance and conversion and patience, and to read individually or
together the church documents on Consecrated Life.
