Thornwood, NY, February 10, 2011 -- The Archdiocese of New
York will be hosting an important event on February 16,
2011, at Our Lady of Thornwood Conference Center in Thornwood,
NY. New York Archbishop and USCCB President Timothy Dolan is
expected to attend with more than 250 priests, as well
as permanent deacons and seminarians.
The conference will cover the
new translation of the Roman Missal. The presenter will be
Msgr. James Moroney who is on the faculty of St.
John’s Seminary in Boston, Massachusetts. Msgr. Moroney is the former
Executive Secretary of the USCCB Secretariat for the Liturgy. He
has spoken at many dioceses about this new Missal translation.
The
event will take place in two sessions -- afternoon and
evening. Legionary brothers and priests have been extended an invitation
to attend the evening session.

and the Church at large,” said Fr. Xavier Castro, LC,
rector of the center.
