June 20, 2011. Fr Eamon Kelly, the vice chargé for
the Pontifical Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center, will be
featured on Ave Maria Radio on Thursday, July 21 to
speak about Mary Magdalene and the Magdala Project.
Since
the feast day of Mary Magdalene is this July 22,
Fr Eamon will be sharing some insights about Mary Magdalene
as an example worth imitating. He will also be giving
an update on the progress of the Magdala Project, a
hotel and multimedia center for pilgrims, which is currently under
construction on the site of the ancient town of Magdala,
which was Mary Magdalene’s hometown on the shores of the
Sea of Galilee.
Steve Ray will be interviewing Fr Eamon on
the show “Al Kresta in the Afternoon” for a 30-minute
segment that will be airing at 4:00 EST on July
