Arlington, VA – The Institute for the Psychological Sciences (IPS) continues achieving impressive results.  Along with an ever increasing enrollment, new course offerings and an expanding campus since its founding in 1999, the Catholic graduate school of psychology is announcing the addition of two new members to its board of directors.
IPS President Fr. Charles Sikorsky, LC, JD, JCL, said last week that Regina Donahue, M.S., and Frank J. Hanna, III, are now members of the IPS board of directors.
"We could not be more delighted to have them join us,” he said.  “They bring unique experiences that will surely enrich our board and help IPS to better fulfill its mission."
The new board members join long-time IPS supporter and board member since its founding, Bishop Paul Loverde of Arlington, Va, as well as several other lay people and priests from the Legionaries of Christ.
Donahue received her master´s degree in Clinical Psychology from IPS in 2010. She completed her undergraduate studies at Duquesne University, where she double majored in political science and philosophy. She taught religion at Oakland Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, served as a counselor for Birthright International, and worked as a youth group leader for girls.  Upon graduation from IPS, Mrs. Donahue and her husband Joe Donahue, also an IPS alumnus, returned to Pittsburgh where she is now raising their two children, James (2) and Josie (6 months).  Her husband is a mental health clinician for Holy Family Institute.
Hanna is CEO of Hanna Capital, an investment services business in Atlanta, Georgia. Previously, he was a corporate attorney with Troutman Sanders of Atlanta.  He has been involved in education for the last 29 years, helping to form several Catholic schools. During the administration of George W. Bush, he was appointed and served as the co-chair of the President´s Advisory Commission on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans.  He is the author of the best-selling book What Your Money Means. He also has numerous awards for his charitable efforts, serves as a Knight of Malta and a Knight of the Holy Sepulchre, and was named a Knight of the Grand Cross in the Order of St. Gregory by Pope Benedict XVI.
