Rome, November 22, 2011. In a letter dated November 21,
the papal delegate, Cardinal Velasio De Paolis, continues offering concrete
directions on the process that the consecrated members of Regnum
Christi are undertaking after the apostolic visitation. This letter follows
the first general guidelines given in a letter this past
October 15th.
In this most recent letter, Cardinal De Paolis
covers five points: the authority of the assistants for the
consecrated members; the Rule that will be in force during
the revision phase; the Central Commission for the revision of
the Statutes and Rules of Regnum Christi; the process of
delving more deeply into some fundamental topics through talks and
study days; and the necessary distinction between reflections, suggestions, and
formal decisions throughout the process which is now underway.
The letter
concludes with an exhortation to prayer, dialogue, and gratitude for
the gift of consecration to God in the Church and
in Regnum Christi.
