Many of you are quite familiar with the work of National Consultants for Education (NCE), a Regnum Christi apostolate assisting the growing network of Legionary and affiliated independent Catholic schools in curriculum, teacher development, school operations and administration, school development and consulting services.

The Challenge of Finding Good Teachers

One of the greatest challenges our schools face is finding well-formed Catholic teachers. Our schools are growing rapidly and they need teachers and administrators who are dedicated to their vocation, who are competent in their particular fields and who embrace the Church´s teachings. They need teachers who can positively challenge and motivate their students to achieve their full potential through our proven pedagogical approach of Integral Formation.

Our Response - A Teacher Referral Service

NCE has developed a teacher referral service to complement the schools´ teacher recruiting programs. In this service, we source teacher candidates and match good candidates with teaching opportunities in our schools. Last year, we were successful in referring over 80 qualified teacher candidates to our schools and assisted in placing 13 teachers and administrators in our schools in the United States and Canada.

Sourcing Teachers

The network of Legionary priests and brothers, consecrated women and lay members of Regnum Christi throughout the United States and Canada provides us with many excellent candidates. We are hopeful that as the Movement grows, this network can become a major source for identifying and attracting excellent teachers for our schools.

NCE represents 25 schools located throughout the United States and Canada. We have teacher openings in all grade levels, Pre-K3 through 12, for the 2002-2003 school year. Our schools can offer fulfilling teaching careers with competitive salaries and advancement opportunities in a growing network of schools. We need certified teachers
with credentials and experience.

How You Can Help

You may know of strong, qualified teachers that may be interested in teaching in our schools. They may be new teachers or experienced teachers from other school systems looking to teach in an invigorating, Catholic environment.

We would like to ask you to do 2 things:

1. Communicate to friends and neighbors our need for good, qualified teachers and NCE´s role in finding and placing good teachers in our schools.

2. If you or other Regnum Christi members know of a qualified teacher candidate who may be interested in working in a dynamic, Catholic school environment, please forward his/her name, telephone number or preferably e-mail address and we will initiate contact. Or, if they prefer to expedite the process, you may have them e-mail or fax a cover
letter stating their interest and a professional resume directly to NCE.
