Jesus appears to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque

Jesus sanctified His home in Nazareth, where He lived with Mary and Joseph until His public life. Lazarus, Mary and Martha were honored with His frequent visits to their home in Bethany.  

Your home can also be a haven for Jesus just like in Nazareth and Bethany, a place for Him to rest amid loving friends and family.  You can enthrone His Sacred Heart and consecrate your family to Him. 

June is the month dedicated to the Sacred Heart devotion and the feast day is officially celebrated for 2012 on June 15, remembering the apparitions of our Lord to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, in which Christ revealed His Sacred Heart to her and told her to “behold the Heart that has so loved men” but has been

loved so little in return. 

The consecrated women of Regnum Christi are offering a Sacred Heart enthronement package which includes information on how to carry out the simple ceremony, some prayers, the 12 promises of the Sacred Heart to Saint Margaret Mary and an image of the Sacred Heart to “enthrone.” 

“Jesus wants to live among us, as the Way the Truth and the Life, to be with us each day, console us in our sorrows and enlighten us in our deepest questions of life,” said RC consecrated woman Celine Kelly.

The novena to the Sacred Heart begins today, June 6, 2012. One suggested version follows: 

Novena of Confidence to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus 

O Lord Jesus Christ, to your most Sacred Heart, I confide this intention: (mention your intention) Look upon me and then do what your Sacred Heart inspires.

Let your Sacred Heart decide.

I count on It, I trust in It. I throw myself on Your mercy, Lord Jesus! You will not fail me.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in You.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in Your love for me.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, Your Kingdom come.

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I have asked You for many favors, but I earnestly implore this one. Take it, dear Jesus!

Place it in your open, broken, precious Heart and when the Eternal Father sees it, covered with Your Precious Blood, He will not refuse it. It will be no longer my prayer, but Yours, O Jesus.

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.
