An Apostolic Roadmap
Legionaries and consecrated women coordinate apostolic efforts in Canada

Cornwall, ON - On March 19, the twelve Legionary priests, two brothers, and four consecrated women who carry out their ministry in Canada gathered in Cornwall, in order to finalize a Canada-wide 5-year apostolic projection plan.

The meeting was moderated by Fr John Gannon LC, who stressed the need to work together – Legionaries, consecrated, and lay members of the Movement – in order to fulfill the mission that Jesus Christ has given us.

With the closing of the Apostolic School in Cornwall at the end of this school year, the Legion will focus on its work in Hamilton, Ontario; Montreal, Quebec; and Calgary, Alberta, home of Clear Water Academy.

After the meetings, there was a
solemn concelebration in honor of St. Joseph, Protector of the Legion and Patron of the Universal Church and of Canada.

Having gathered for the meeting, the Legionaries took advantage to spend a few days of rest together in community and to celebrate Rector’s Day on March 21 in typical Canadian fashion: inviting the precandidates and apostolics for an intense game of hockey!
