Help Fr. Richard Sutter LC raise money to support the RC and LC Atlanta communities in June 30 Triathalon

Triathlon for Fr. Richard Sutter

Fr. Richard Sutter LC will be competing in the upcoming ½ Ironman Qualifier Triathlon Race to raise money for his religious community in Atlanta. The 70.3-mile race, which includes swimming 1.2 miles, bicycling 56 miles, and running 13.1 miles, takes place on June 30, 2013, in Lubbock, Texas.

“This is a great opportunity to get a lot of people to each give a little, that will add up to support our Atlanta RC/LC Community,” said Fr. Richard. He said all the funds raised will go to support the RC/LC religious and consecrated communities serving with him in the Atlanta, Georgia, area.

Out of the 104 competitors in Fr. Richard’s age group, his goal is to finish in the top 3.  He is also hoping to inspire others to take on a similar challenge.

“I hope to drum up national awareness of how to race for a cause,” he said. “Pray for me!”

In addition to monetary pledges, he is requesting prayer intentions to offer up during his competition. “I will carry all prayer requests in my Tri-Shirt throughout the race and remember all in prayer.”

To make a pledge, send your name and pledge per mile and prayer request to rsutter@pinecrestacademy.org on
