consecrated women, want to invoke the Holy Spirit so He will
illuminate the development of the Assembly.
A Little History
of renewal began with a mandate from Pope Benedict XVI,
who entrusted Cardinal Velasio De Paolis C.S. with the task
of governing the Legion of Christ and the Regnum Christi
Movement in his name (appointment letter). By appointment and
under the direction of the Papal Delegate Cardinal De Paolis,
His Excellency Don Ricardo Blazquez made an apostolic visitation to
the consecrated branches of Regnum Christi, followed by an “illuminative
phase” devoted to study, courses, assimilation and deepening of the
teachings of the Church regarding the vocation of lay consecrated
Afterwards, the Papal Delegate instituted the Commission for the revision
of the Statutes of the consecrated members of Regnum Christi.
This commission was responsible for preparing material for study, which
served as a basis for reflection for all the consecrated
members in their communities on the draft Statutes, and to
gather the contributions sent for review. A second draft was
then sketched for the territorial assembly and which will be
the study material for the General Assembly, which will approve
the text that will ultimately be given to the Holy
See for its approval.

delegates who will be representing North America at the RC
consecrated women’s General Assembly:
Denise was born in
Canada and is 42 years old. She has been consecrated
for 21 years. She has a BA in education and
development from the Anahuac University and has worked apostolically in
Mexico, Ireland and the United States. She has worked in
educational institutions and the formation of consecrated members in precandidacies
and centers of formation. She is currently the director of
formation at the Highlands School in Dallas and is a
council member for the United States territory.

She has been consecrated for 17 years. She earned a
BS in medical technology at the University of South Dakota
and has a Masters degree in the administration of Catholic
schools from the University of Dallas, as well as a
BA in education and development from Anahuac University. She has
worked apostolically in Chile and the United States in the
direction of educational centers and of consecrated members, and in
the direction of women’s sections in Regnum Christi. She is
a council member for the United States territory and
lives in Greenville, RI.
Monica was born in Monterrey,
Mexico and is 40 years old. She has been consecrated
for 20 years. She has a BA in education and
development from Anahuac University. She has worked apostolically in Rome,
Chile and the United States as a formator and director
of consecrated women, and in youth work in Regnum Christi.
She was the assistant to the territorial director in the
United States. She is currently studying for a masters degree
in theology with a specialization in consecrated life, and is
a spiritual director. She lives in Houston.
born in Canada. She is 47 years old and has
been consecrated for 20 years. She has a BA in
education and development from Anahuac University and a degree in
religious studies from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, a Masters
in humanities from the University of Toronto, and a doctorate
in moral theology from the John Paul II Institute in
Rome. She has worked apostolically in Italy and the United
States. She has worked as a teacher in centers of
formation and in other educational institutes, as well as family,
youth and vocational work in Regnum Christi. She
a professor of theology at the center of formation in
Betty is Mexican and is 35 years
old. She has been consecrated for 16 years. She has
a BA in education and development from Anahuac University, and
a degree in religious studies from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina
Apostolorum. She has worked apostolically in Mexico, Rome, the United
States and the Philippines in Regnum Christi youth work, with
adolescents in ECYD, in educational institutes and in the assessment
of apostolic development at the territorial and general secretary levels.
She is currently the director of a house of consecrated
women in the Philippines and works in the Everest school
Kate was born in the United States
and is 22 years old; she has been consecrated for
3 years. She was a member of the precandidacy in
4 years and is now in her fourth
year of formation at the center in Greenville, RI in
the United States.
Nancy Nohrden is from Massachusetts,
USA. She is 39 years old and has been consecrated
for 15 years. Before being consecrated she received a degree
in philosophy, and now also has a degree in education
and development from Anáhuac University. She has served apostolically in
the United States and Germany with young people, in educational
institutions and as a director of consecrated women. She was
