Challenge and Conquest are offering summers camps throughout the US and Canada

Challenge and Conquest are offering exciting summer camp choices throughout the United States and Canada this summer.  Camps run from June through August, and some registration deadlines are approaching fast (or are even today) so make sure to go to the following links for more information:

Challenge Camps for Girls

“Make a splash, take the plunge and cannonball into a high-intensity summer camp this summer” with the Challenge Jump summer camps.

“Rising 5th - 8th grade girls will dive into leadership by facing tropical island challenges, engaging in team competitions, and exploring the oceans of wealth within the Catholic faith,”

Conquest Camps for Boys

“This summer, meet up with boys and young men ages 10 - 14 for adrenaline-filled, faith-based camps,” said Fr. Daniel Brandenburg LC, who is helping to organize the Conquest camps for the Ohio Valley.

“Each summer from 2002-2005 I ran summer camps for boys in Canada,” said Fr. Simon Devereux LC, who this year is helping to organize camps with the LC brothers from Cheshire, Connecticut. (Click here for flyer.)

“We would take the boys canoeing on Devil’s River, camping in the Adirondacks, and we would climb Mt. Whiteface,” he said. “We taught them catechism, how to serve Mass and even table manners! It was an exhausting time, but seeing their transformation was truly rewarding. The moms would call us after camp, saying now their sons want to pray and go to

When making plans for the summer, Fr. Simon reminds all young people of the words of Pope Emeritus Benedict:

“Dear Young People. Do not be satisfied with anything less than Truth and Love. Do not be content with anything less than Christ.”
