| 3500 people participated in an event dedicated to the Blessed Virgin. | |

Regnum Christi members, in coordination with other
apostolates throughout the Prelature of Cancun-Chetumal (Mexico), organized an event
whose objective was to promote a greater love for the
Blessed Virgin Mary.
Saturday November 2, 3,500 people congregated in
the Cancun Convention Center for Mass, confessions, and a series
of talks on the Blessed Virgin and her virtues. The
Eucharist was celebrated by the local Bishop, His Excellency Jorge
Bernal, LC, the first Legionary of Christ ever to be
named a Bishop and one of the very first Legionary
priests to be ordained. Numerous faithful lined up for the
sacrament of reconciliation, a sign the event was producing significant

spiritual fruits.
The speakers for the event included Monsignor José
Cruz Camacho Rodríguez, Counselor for the Latinamerican Group of Cursillos
de Cristiandad, Father Mario Rojas, a specialist in the tilma
of Saint Juan Diego, as well as Legionaries Father Pedro
Pablo Elizondo,LC, and Father Rafael Jácome, LC. All of
the speakers eloquently conveyed a great knowledge and a personal
love for the Mother of our Lord.
Various aspostolates set up
stands to display how they serve the Church. Regnum Christi members as well as a number of
religious congregations shared with the faithful their projects and ideas,
motivating and inspiring them to bring their faith to life
by actively spreading the Good News.
