There are six Oak Academies: Dublin Oak and the Woodlands in Ireland; Oaklawn, Overbrook and Everest in the USA; and Le Chatelard in Switzerland. At these schools, Oak International directs educational programs for the integral formation of young people. Founded in 1969 Oak International arose in response to a plea from conscientious parents who sought quality education for their children, a need that continues to grow. Many seek to have their children study abroad so as to hone foreign language skills.
