Father John Connor, LC, territorial director-Atlanta, and Father Julio Marti,
LC, territorial director-New York, have named the members of the
commissions for their respective territories that will coordinate input during
the review of the Legion’s constitutions.
The appointments followed consultation with
all the Legionaries of each territory, and are as follows:
Atlanta Territory:
• Fr. Robert Presutti, LC (Head)
• Fr. Thomas Moylan,
LC
• Fr. Daniel Massick, LC
• With Fr. Paul Moreau, LC
as secretary
New York Territory:
• Fr John Bartunek, LC (Head)
• Fr
Owen Kearns, LC
• Fr José Antonio Alonso, LC
• With
Fr Juan Sabadell, LC as secretary
The territorial commissions functions include
making sure the relevant materials, which are prepared by the
central commission under the guidance of the Papal Delegate, reach
each community for their reflection and input. The territorial commissions
also help resolve whatever practical problems arise as the process
evolves, and make sure all the input from the separate
communities is forwarded to the central commission in Rome.
As the
review process moves forward during the next three years, any
Legionary who so desires may also send in suggestions directly
to their territorial commission or its individual members, or to
the central commission or any of its members.
