Members of the Participatory Organizational Council met last week to review progress of the sharing of the Action Plan and to gauge the success of locality conversations around the plan.  Consensus was that localities are starting to conduct their discussions, which are an important foundation for the path forward.

In addition, a new team was launched with the goal of defining the scope of the process of renewal for 1st and 2nd degree members. Members of the POC noted that Legionaries are involved in the review of the order’s constitutions and consecrated members (3rd degree) are starting the process of reviewing their documents.  The hope is to develop a way in which the 1st and 2nd degree members can engage in a related process.

The POC also decided that the annual survey of members conducted last summer will be done annually.
