Cheshire,
Connecticut – Those within traveling distance to the Legion of
Christ seminary in Cheshire, Connecticut are invited to attend two
special seasonal events this month.
On Sunday,
December 16, 2012, the seminarians will perform a Christmas Novena
Concert beginning at 3:00 pm. On Saturday, December
29, 2012, their specially-designed “Christmas Room” will be open for
viewing from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Both events
include hospitality and refreshments with the priests and brothers. All are welcome to attend, and there
is no need to RSVP.
“The purpose of the Christmas Novena
Concert is to help us to go deeper into the
mystery of Advent and Christmas through music, videos and testimonies,”
said one of LC seminarians, Brother Kramer Cameron. “The purpose
of the Christmas Room event is to open our home
to our friends and lead them to the child, who
is the center of our lives, by means of a
tour of the house and a tour of the Manger
scene.”
The Manger scene is constructed
each year by the seminarians.
