Medieval Festival Gets Attention

Spring, Texas -- What do you get when you mix a renaissance fair atmosphere and a Texas horse ranch location?  You get the upcoming gala event at Northwoods Catholic School.  And the unusual event has drawn some local media attention. 

The elementary school in Spring, Texas, will be holding its annual fundraising gala on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013. 

One of the reporters at Fox News in KRIV Fox 26, in Houston, Texas did a live interview in late 2012 with the organizer of the event, Carmina Zamorano Chavez, a Northwood’s parent, as well as Fr. Scott Reilly LC, President of Northwoods Catholic school. (Click here to see the report.)           

Camina owns the facility Haras dos Cavaleiros in Magnolia, Texas, and will be hosting the gala event there. Haras dos Cavaleiros is a horse facility offering boarding, equestrian lessons, training, breeding and veterinary services.  For more information, go to their Facebook page at
