Bringing bursts of color to a rainy afternoon, Pure Fashion
Atlanta held its annual Spring Fashion Show April 28, 2013.
The event was sponsored by Belk and The
Forum of Norcross.
than 350 guests who attended “oohed” and “awed” at the
fashions on display.
Thirty seven young ladies modeled two outfits
each, supplied by Belk. Each of the models
put together their “looks” themselves. Fashion designer Anita
Temple helped the girls organize their looks into five different
fashion trends for this season – “denim jackets,” “color burst,”
“polka dots,” “black and white,” and “Americana.”
This show is the climax of
the year-long Pure Fashion formation program. Participating models
learn fashion and beauty tips, while getting a better understanding
of their feminine dignity and self-worth.
“Every woman wants to be beautiful,” said Regnum Christi
consecrated woman Alejandra Aguirre, the local program director. “But it
is the beauty inside that actually impacts people! And that’s
why here in Pure Fashion, we want to be beautiful,
inside and out.”
