Fr. Daniel Brandenburg LC has written and published a new book, Better with God? Why be "good without God" when you can be better with God? now available for purchase on

In honor of his parent’s wedding anniversary today, Fr. Daniel said there is a five-day promotional event in which his new book can be downloaded on Kindle for free through June 2, 2013.

“In a nutshell, this new book explains the crisis of faith in modern society, and discusses how this crisis became personal for me through an experience of a priest gone ‘bad’ and an atheist gone ‘good’,” he said.

Fr. Brandenburg said three questions form the core of the book:

  • Can we be good without God? – this includes some of the arguments of the new atheists, along with 10 modern myths about faith.

  • Are we better off with religion? - a review of various studies that show the surprising results of religion (and specifically Christianity).

  • And I better off

    with God?
    - a more personal approach to the question about God and the stories of three prominent atheists whose lives became better with God.
