Regnum Christi families came together in Avondale, Pennsylvania, to help the poor this summer.

“We just held our first Regnum Christi family mission there,” said Fr. Michael Sliney, LC.

The mission took place this past weekend (starting July 12, 2013) at the Spanish-speaking St. Rocco´s Parish of Philadelphia.

Activities included visiting local housing projects and several homebound St. Rocco parishioners suffering from health issues.

“We also served at the Parish thrift shop and helped to organize the clothes,” said Fr. Michael. “We put on a mini fair with a moon bounce for the parish children, cleaned out a few of their school buses and even fixed up the Parish priest´s office.”
Fr. Sliney said this will be an annual program from
