Prayers Requested for Eternal Repose of Catalina Náder
The Regnum Christi family gives thanks to God for the gift of her life

Sunset at the end of life

On August 14th, 2013, on the eve of her 25th anniversary as a consecrated woman in Regnum Christi, Catalina Náder left for the Father’s house. She passed away in Monterrey, Mexico, after a several-year battle against cancer.

Catalina consecrated her life to God in Regnum Christi on August 15, 1989. She made the solemn renewal of her promises of poverty, chastity and obedience on August 26, 1991. Her apostolic work took place as director of the Godwin Institute in Mexico City (1990-1991), in the Everest School in Madrid (1991-1994) and the Highlands School in Seville, Spain. She served as vice-principal of the Godwin Institute from 1997-1998, and from 2000-2004 worked in the Royal Palm Academy in Naples, Florida. In 2005 Catalina was diagnosed with cancer and was transferred to Monterrey, where she served in the Regnum Christi women´s section.

On August 15, solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Mother, Catalina´s funeral took place in the shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in San Pedro Garza García, Monterrey, Nuevo León. Her brother Fr. Luis Náder, L.C. presided, accompanied by about 30 priests, the majority Legionaries. At the end of the Mass, her sister María, also a consecrated women in the movement, spoke

words of gratitude on the part of the whole family. Fr. Peter Coates, L.C., also thanked Catalina on behalf of Regnum Christi.

We ask for prayers for Catalina´s eternal repose, and in a special way for her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
