|New middle school building at Everest Academy Manila.|
At the beginning of the school year, Everest Academy Manila’s
Middle School building in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) was inaugurated
and blessed by the Bishop of the Diocese of Pasig, Mylo
Hubert Vergara, D.D. The August 30, 2013, event was attended
by more than one hundred guests, parents, and Regnum Christi
Bishop Mylo officiated the Mass together with Everest chaplain
Fr. Hieu Nguyen, L.C., Fr. Eric Nielsen, LC and Fr.
Arnold Eramiz of St. Michael the Archangel parish in BGC.

The newly blessed building houses the middle school,
grades 6 to 8. It has a state-of-the-art science laboratory,
a computer laboratory, and spacious classrooms for each of the
two sections per grade level that can accommodate up to
25 students per section.
The event was a milestone in
the school’s seven-year history and the culmination of two years
of design and much preparation in order to provide additional
facilities to accommodate the growing number of Everest Academy students.
“My friends and I have been waiting for this building
for a long time,” said one of the Everest 6th
graders who represented the student body to the Bishop. “We’ve
been so excited for this. I still remember about 3
years ago when we would look at the model and
