| Our Lady of Santa Clara Retreat Center in Cupertino, CA | |

Cupertino,
California – Diocesan priests are invited to attend a retreat
featuring the spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola and
lead by Fr. Peter Devereux, LC. The event
will take place from January 21-25, 2013, in the scenic
Northern California Bay area, in the relaxing and comfortable atmosphere
of the Our Lady of Santa Clara Retreat Center in
Cupertino, CA.
Fr. Peter was born in
Dunedin, New Zealand, and is the first of three priests
in his family. He was ordained on January
1, 2000, after completing his studies at Regina Apostolorum in
Rome and spent 12 years working in the Atlanta, Georgia
area. He currently resides in the San Jose
Legion of Christ community.
The daily schedule for
the retreat includes concelebration of the Eucharist, directed meditations with
time for private prayer, conferences, Stations of the Cross, Benediction,
and opportunity for reconciliation and spiritual direction.
Those attending are also welcome to stay an extra day
for sightseeing in the Northern California Bay area.
