September 21, 2009. Pure Fashion has been appearing in
various media outlets lately, from Marie Claire Magazine’s print edition
to local news and radio stations. The recent media coverage
just goes to show that Pure Fashion models are part of
a growing “modesty movement” among girls and women who are
standing up for their dignity with the way that they
choose to dress.
On September 17, Fox News in Charlotte, North
Carolina produced a video about the local Pure Fashion program.
In addition to footage of some recent fashion shows, the
video features an interview with model Chelsea Byron and her
mother Beth, the Pure Fashion chairwoman in Charlotte.
“If Jesus comes
back today, this is how I’m going to be dressing
and this is how he’s going to see me,” says
Chelsea Byron. “And do I want to be wearing a
tank top and short shorts? No.”
