Pure Fashion model Chelsea Byron shares her convictions on Fox News in Charlotte, NC.

September 21, 2009. Pure Fashion has been appearing in various media outlets lately, from Marie Claire Magazine’s print edition to local news and radio stations. The recent media coverage just goes to show that Pure Fashion models are part of a growing “modesty movement” among girls and women who are standing up for their dignity with the way that they choose to dress.

On September 17, Fox News in Charlotte, North Carolina produced a video about the local Pure Fashion program. In addition to footage of some recent fashion shows, the video features an interview with model Chelsea Byron and her mother Beth, the Pure Fashion chairwoman in Charlotte.

“If Jesus comes back today, this is how I’m going to be dressing and this is how he’s going to see me,” says Chelsea Byron. “And do I want to be wearing a tank top and short shorts?  No.”

In Lima, Ohio, a Pure Fashion show for the Putnam County area attracted the attention of the Catholic Chronicle, the Toledo diocesan newspaper. The story, published on September 13 and entitled “Pure Fashion models are on a mission for modesty,” is accompanied by a slide show of photos of the models rehearsing for their upcoming fashion show, as well as voice over interviews with the girls and the event organizers.
