Atlanta, GA, June 7, 2007. – Pinecrest Academy’s boys
varsity soccer team recently won the Georgia Independent School Association
(GISA) tournament by defeating Holy Spirit Preparatory 2-0. The inaugural
tournament was held at Stratford Academy in Macon, Georgia on
May 12.
This was the first year that Pinecrest Paladins fielded
a soccer team. Head coach Bryan Galloway noted that the
“goal was to put a competitive team on the field.
The boys stepped up to the challenge and this was
just icing on the cake for us.”
The team finished
the season with a 12-1 winning record.
