September 1, 2010. Epriest, a web site and online
bulletin service for priests, has reached a new record with
close to 8,000 users in the database and over 6,400
bulletin subscriptions.
The e-resource has a number of features that
priests around the world have found to be just what
they needed. Its weekly homily packs provide an outline of
ideas that priests can adapt to their own needs and
preaching style. Ready-made homilies in Spanish are also available for
priests who need assistance with Hispanic ministry.
The site and its
newsletter also offer parish Best Practices, which are ministry ideas
that have been tested and proven effective in real parishes,
with the endorsement of local pastors and bishops. Best Practices
span a wide range of ministry needs, from faith formation,
family ministry, youth ministry, vocational ministry, finance, sacraments, outreach to
new parishioners, and more.
A new feature, available to those with
a free clergy account, is the online forum where priests
from around the world can share opinions and experiences on
topics such as the liturgy, sacraments, and preaching.
What priests
are saying
I just wanted to say thanks very much for
the kind and generous service you provide in giving the
stimulus for ideas for homilies. They usually trigger me in
a very positive direction and I wanted to thank you
for this service.
You are in my prayers.

Dear
Staff,
Thank you very much for a superb resource for the
preparation of our homilies! I was introduced to ePriests recently
and I am very impressed with the sound Scriptural and
theological analysis of the Readings, as well as the good
examples and the interesting applications. By sending it to us
on Sunday night for the following Sunday, you give us
the opportunity to reflect early on the Scriptures and also
you enable us to look for events during the week
to strengthen our application.
Prayers and best wishes!!

Dear organisers of
epriest.com, hearty congratulations to you. I don´t know how old
this site is. I was just recently introduced to it
by a priest friend of mine. Thanks for the wonderful
work you are doing. I am a priest from India.
Remember me in your prayers. I promise to extend my
prayerful support for this beautiful and effective ministry of yours.
God bless us all.
Thanks a lot.

Thank
you so much for a great web site, and especially
for the help with the Spanish homilies. I´m one of
those priests in a mission diocese who has almost too
much to cover, and so your web site comes at
a great time in helping me, especially with homily ideas.
I´ll pass the site along. This is a true blessing,
and I appreciate your dedication and important apostolate.
God
bless all!

This is
my first time using ePriest Homily Pack to help with
a homily. I just ´volunteered" today to fill in this
weekend for another deacon. Your outline is terrific. I can
use my own thoughts and illustrations as well.
Thank
you and God Bless you abundantly for your work.
