Since its inception in 1996, Helping Hands Medical Missions has brought life-changing medical care to the poor of Mexico, El Salvador, Venezuela and Brazil, with more mission territories in the works. Doctors, nurses, and other volunteers come for a week, often bringing their own supplies to assist the thousands of patients who will come for their services. All is done in a spirit of Gospel charity, with daily Mass for volunteers, bioethics seminars, and spiritual outreach to clinic patients an integral part of each mission.
