| One hundred volunteers participated in five posadas (Spanish-style Christmas parties) organized by Regnum Christi members for the underprivileged in metropolitan Detroit this Christmas season. | |

Detroit – The “Angel for a Day” program, an international
service of Regnum Christi members, hosted five Spanish-styleChristmas parties or
posadas for about 1500 kids in several locations: throughout Michigan,
including downtown Detroit, Pontiac, Imlay City and Grand Rapids.
About
one 100 volunteers, mostly high school and college-age participants in
prayer groups known as Christian Life teams, organized and ran
these Christmas parties. Students from Everest Academy, Thomas Moore School
and members of Conquest Clubs for boys helped to collect
candy and

| Santa Claus brought peasants for good boys and girls. | |

toys for the parties.
A fundraiser dinner at
Pet’s Coney Island, a restaurant in Clarkston, Michigan, helped collect
money for the parties.
The posadas featured piñatas, raffles, a
meal and Santa Claus giving presents to the children.
