May 24, 2010. SportsLeader coaches, parents, and athletes who are
looking for inspiration and guidance have found a great resource
in the SportsLeader blog and YouTube channel.
Active since 2009,
the SportsLeader blogspot has over 200 entries posted, along
with complementary videos.
Some of the topics in the most
recent blog entries include:

you want to be a Christian AND a Navy SEAL?

• Priorities: A Personal and Honest Look
• Modeling Love and Respect for Women
• When Hiring a New
Coach

In addition
to the blog, there is also a SportsLeader YouTube
channel, full of motivational and informational talks by coaches, as well
as athlete testimonies and endorsements by pro coaches.
Some of
the topics of the YouTube videos include:
• Coach Paul Passafiume
on “What Is a Man?”
• Coach Chris Willertz on “Caring
for Your Players, Not Using Them”
• Coach Gerry Faust on

Lou
Judd, the national SportsLeader director, said that the idea for
the blog came up as a way to continue sharing
resources with coaches—and to let coaches share with each other.
“A
number of coaches and athletes from all over the country
have agreed to share their thoughts on virtue and sports
so we can all be enriched by their efforts,” he
said, noting that the program has been impacting the lives
of athletes and coaches for the past six years.
