The young missionaries.

A group of twenty-two young people from Youth for the Third Millennium of Brazil participated in a Christmas mission in the city of Maringa, which is located in the southern portion of the country.

The missionaries, who spread the good news from December 20-22, received a warm welcome from Father Reginaldo Lima, pastor of the parishes of the Infant Child Jesus of Prague and Saint Francis Xavier. During the three-day event the missionaries met more than 800 people and encouraged them to live Christmas with an authentic Christian spirit.

These brave young apostles were mostly local, hailing from Maringá and the nearby city of Curitiba. The parishioners were very grateful for their efforts, joy, enthusiasm and dedication and many asked them to come back and encourage them again. Their wish will come true because another mission has already been organized for Holy Week this year.
