May 26, 2009. Rome, Italy. This summer, young men who
are Regnum Christi members and formators in their section will
have an unparalleled opportunity to grow in their spiritual life
and in their mission of service to the Church at
the International Regnum Christi Formators Convention in Rome.
The course,
directed by Fr Peter Byrne, LC, will be held from
July 1-31 at the International Pontifical Maria Mater Ecclesiae
College in Rome, only 15 minutes from the Vatican.
The
convention will include attendance at a Papal audience in Castelgandolfo,
cultural visits to St Peter’s Basilica, the Vatican museums, the
historical center of Rome, major basilicas, the catacombs, Assisi, Sienna,
Florence, Montecasino, and much more.
In addition to daily Mass
and prayer and opportunities for confession and spiritual direction, there
will be sports every day (soccer, basketball, outings, etc.) and
a 3-day national rally across Italy, from Venice to Rome
to the Amalfi Coast.
There will be courses, workshops, and case studies
on apologetics, current events, Church doctrine, pastoral psychology, prayer, leadership,
Ecclesiology, Regnum Christi methodology, history of the Church and of
Regnum Christi, and public speaking.
Guest speakers representing various professions
will also give conferences sharing their own experience of evangelizing

within world of business, the media, and more.
Who can attend?
The
course is intended for young men who are active members
of the Regnum Christi Movement, and who have been invited
by their section director to be a formator. (Since the
course is intended for formators, the section director’s approval is
required in order to participate.)

qualifications can register by sending a message to the convention

Practical information:
• Arrival and departure times:
the course begins with Mass in the afternoon on July
1st and ends in the afternoon on July 31st with
the concluding ceremony.
• Transportation from airport to Mater Ecclesiae:
If you would like transportation from the airport to the
Maria Mater Ecclesiae International College, you will need to send
your flight information in advance to the convention coordinator at
this e-mail address: ifc@arcol.org.
Cost:
The convention cost includes lodging,
food, and visits during the days of the convention (travel
to and from Rome is not included). All payments, including
Traveler’s checks, must be in Euros (€1,550) and payment must
be completed before the course begins. For credit card payment

There are two time frames for payment:
• “PUNCTUAL” PAYMENT
(until June 15th ): € 1,500.
Reserve your spot with
€ 500 and you have the right to this price.
Full payment is due before July 1st.
• “LAST-MINUTE” PAYMENT
(until July 2nd ): € 1,550.
