Trying to figure
out what to do this summer with your rambunctious boy,
or perhaps several boys? Does a week or two of
sports and other active outdoor pursuits sound like something they
might like? Toss in some activities to nurture
the soul, and you have one of several camps sponsored
by Conquest, a Catholic boys youth program of Mission Network
and sponsored by Regnum Christi. The camps invite
boys from ages ranging from about 10 to 17, and
their Dads are welcome too!
Below are details from some of these
events. To see if another event is taking
place near you, click here.
Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania:
If you are “up for
the challenge,” boys ages 10-13 are invited to attend the
“Call & Duty: Undaunted Courage” Conquest National Camp. Those who attend will “work together with your team
in awesome activities” and go on “a spiritual journey into
dangerous territories with all sorts of obstacles to battle and
overcome.” This camp offers swimming, sports, games, paint
ball and "great food."
There is also a component for boys
ages 14-17 who are interested in being Conquest “team leaders.” The camp offers “leadership training in organizing fun
and formative activities to lead your teams effectively.”
To register for either
camp, contact Todd Brechbill at tbrechbill@missionnetwork.com.
