Immaculate Conception Program students at Everest Collegiate Girls' High School

Clarkston, Michigan – The enrollment at Everest Collegiate High School in Clarkston, Michigan, continues to grow each year.  This year, the Girls’ High School had a noteworthy increase from a group of eighteen young ladies in the Immaculate Conception Program (ICP).

The ICP is for girls who are deciding if they want to start a process of discernment to a life of consecration within the Regnum Christi movement.  According to the head of the program, Margarita Martinez, ICP offers an environment which allows girls to live their Catholic faith and receive integral formation, which favors human and spiritual maturity, while receiving their high school education.

The new students attend Everest Collegiate during the day, participating in the extracurricular activities of their interest, and live at the Queen of the Family Retreat Center in Oxford, as do the female boarding students attending Everest Academy.

Valerie Fifelski, formation instructor at Everest Collegiate Girls’ High School, said, “This year is off to a great start.  The students and faculty have been very welcoming to our new students. No doubt there will be bumps in the road, but isn’t that true of anything worth doing?”
