April 6, 2011 - As the beatification of the late
Pope John Paul II draws near, it seems appropriate to
distribute two CD reflections on Divine Mercy and the messages
given by Our Lady at Fatima in 1917.
John Paul II
not only died on the eve of Divine Mercy on
April 2, 2005, but he was a strong supporter of
the devotion popularized by the appearances of Our Lord to
St. Faustina Kowalska. The motto of his pontificate was “Totus
Tuus,” meaning “Totally Yours,” an offering he made to the
Blessed Virgin. Especially after he survived a shooting on May
13, 1981, he publicly showed his great devotion to Our
Lady of Fatima.
The Saving Power of Divine Mercy
Lighthouse Catholic Media
is offering a CD conference on Divine Mercy presented by
Fr. Jason Brooks LC. “The Saving Power of Divine Mercy”
CD has already sold more than 20,000 copies worldwide. Fr.
Jason, who was ordained to the Legionaries of Christ in
2004, serves as chaplain of the Chicago chapter of the
Lumen Institute.
“Pope John Paul II said that Divine Mercy is
THE message for the third millennium and God´s gift to
our time,” said Fr. Jason. “There is nothing that mankind
needs more than Christ´s Divine Mercy.”
Fr. Jason said the
CD “focuses on what we know of God´s Mercy, our
response to His Love, how we can become merciful to
others, and how to become apostles of mercy.”
The CD
also contains a bonus track with the Divine Mercy chaplet
led by Fr. Francis Peffley and Irish tenor Mark Forrest
and Muriel Forrest.

Fatima, Living
the Messages
Lighthouse Catholic Media is also offering a CD by
Fr. Jason on the messages of Our Lady of Fatima.
In
the year 1917, our Blessed Mother appeared to three shepherd
children -- Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia -- and gave them
various messages about repentance and prayer.
The CD “Fatima, Living the
Messages” will be the Lighthouse Catholic Media “CD of the
Month” for May, 2011. More than 24,000 copies of the
CD will be distributed during the month to all the
“CD of the Month” subscribers in the English-speaking world, and
more than 3,500 parishes around the United States will be
invited to purchase the CD to make it available in
their displays of Lighthouse Catholic Media catechetical materials. The CD
will also be available for download from the Lighthouse Catholic
Media Company Store for a cost of $3 at www.lighthousecatholicmedia.org.
