Cheshire, Connecticut -- The Legion of Christ Choir at the center of formation in Cheshire, Connecticut has recorded a new music CD for Advent and Christmas. “Gaudete” (Latin for “Rejoice) is now available to order. 

This CD includes popular songs for Advent and Christmas such as “O Come, Divine Messiah.”  Special CD features include a traditional Filipino carol and the original German version of Silent Night – Stille Nacht.  The CD also includes a booklet with English translations.

“It is an expanded version of the previous Tidings of Joy CD, “said Fr. Andreas Kramarz, LC and Choir Director.  “The CD incorporates Gregorian chant alternating with Latin polyphone and English tunes.

“This selection of seasonal songs would make a unique precious Christmas gift!” he said.  “Let the voice of the seminarians inspire joy and prayer as you meditate on the love Christ gives each of us by his incarnation.”
