New “blog” website offers views from Regnum Christi and Legionary writers

Catholiccomments.com

Chicago, August 15, 2007. – Catholiccomments.net is a recently created website for Legionaries and Regnum Christi commentators to offer their views on the issues of the day – or topics they simply find of interest.

This is not a site that purports to be the official mouthpiece of the Roman Catholic Church.  The views expressed are those of the individual contributors.  The content varies from formal essays to more casual “blog entries” – several columns will sound more like “thinking out loud” than orating.  Some humor may even creep in here and there.

We do pray that the views expressed on this site always will be shaped by our practice of the Catholic faith and the teachings of the Church.  We won’t hide our goal to be missionaries who bring more souls to Christ and His Church.

More than a dozen commentators currently are contributing to the site.  Topics include personal accounts of a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, tips on raising teenagers, analysis of the news media and discussion of various cultural issues.  To see what our commentators are talking about, visit:  www.catholiccomments.net

Catholiccomments.net is edited by Jim Fair, communications director for the Legion of Christ.  If you are interested in being a contributor, you can contact Jim at jfair@arcol.org.
