Since May 17th, twenty-three Consecrated Women of Regnum Christ within their first 6-9 years of consecrated life have been in Castel di Guido, Rome, for an intense time of interior solidification of their vocations.
Preparing for final vows
The course, a focused preparation for final vows, is meant to help them pray and reflect on their journey with God so far, providing accompaniment and space to examine and integrate their experiences and identity, to strengthen them for a renewed “yes” in their following of Christ.
Some of the participants have already made their final vows, doing so before the time of temporal vows was extended to a minimum of 6 years, and their years of consecrated life correspond with the time they would be preparing for final vows now.
They began with a month of spiritual exercises, May 27-June 26, preached by Fr. José María Antón L.C. Through July and August, they continue with courses on the spiritual life, prayer, the mission, personal identity, femininity and consecration, and other similar topics related to their consecrated lives.
There are vocations from the United States, Mexico, Brazil, El Salvador, Venezuela, Chile, Spain, France, and Hungary.
Those from the North America Territory are Amelia Hoover, Rachel Peach, Jacquie Lustig, Nicole Stone, and Claire Umali.
