December 31, 2017: The Regnum Christi Movement 2017 statistics are based on information provided by all the Regnum Christi territories throughout the world and all four branches of the Movement within the territories.
At the end of 2017, the Regnum Christi Movement has 21,300 lay members, 526 Consecrated Women, 63 Lay Consecrated Men, and 1,537 Legionaries of Christ. It also has 11,584 ECYD members.

It also has 11,584 ECYD members. During 2017, there was an increase of 819 lay members of Regnum Christi (+ 4%) and 163 members of the ECYD (+ 1.5%) and of one Lay Consecrated Man. On the other hand, in this same period, the Consecrated Women decreased -3.7% and the Legionaries of Christ decreased -3% with respect to 2016.

In December 2017, Regnum Christi’s educational work reached over 176,000 students
In December 2017, Regnum Christi’s educational work reached over 176,000 students, including 67,124 students in schools advised by the Movement throughout the world (-1,059 from the previous year) and 20,204 students from Mano Amiga schools (+112). There are 21 Mano Amiga schools in Mexico, three (3) in Chile, two (2) in Venezuela, two (2) in Colombia, one (1) in Argentina, one (1) in the Philippines, and one (1) in Brazil.
There are 48,116 university students in Regnum Christi’s International Network of Universities (+2.101), and 36,414 in the Universidad Interamericana para el Desarrollo – UNID (+3.040 Inter-American University for Development – it is equivalent to a community college and trade school system) distributed on 47 campuses. In addition, another 2,994 students take online courses. The 14 campuses of the universities affiliated Regnum Christi’s International Network are located in Mexico (10), Italy (1), Spain (1), Chile (1), and the United States (1).
Regnum Christi also runs several Ecclesial Universities. The Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum has 1094 students. The Mexican branch of the John Paul II Institute for the Family has 609 students (+394). The International Pontifical College Maria Mater Ecclesiae in Rome houses 107 seminarians (-4). Finally, the Inter-Diocesan Seminary and Maria Mater Ecclesiae Theological Institute in São Paulo has 80 students (-8).
During 2017, three (3) new parishes were assumed (in Puebla, Mexico, Milan, Italy and Avila, Spain) to bring the total parishes entrusted to the Legionaries of Christ to 44.

Eight (8) of these parishes are in Mexico (26 of them in the Prelature of Cancún-Chetumal), eight (8) in Italy, two (2) in France, two (2) in Brazil, two (2) in the United States, one (1) in Argentina, one (1) in Canada, and the diocesan sanctuary of Our Lady of Sonsoles in Ávila, Spain. The Legionaries and Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi direct the center for pilgrims of Magdala in Galilee, and oversee the Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center.
